I picked up Perks of Being a Wallflower because the movie is coming out soon, and being an avid Emma Watson fan and this being her first proper movie since HP I wanted to know all about this story before I watch the movie. And the Manchester United book. Well if you know me then you know why, but if you don't know, im one of the most football mad people out there, and Manchester United is the time I support. GGMU. Honestly, Sleep, eat, football and Video games and books could entertain me forever. Honest.
My expectations of all these book are very high, especially the thriller( no pressure Michelle) but the Manchester United book isn't one I have picked up because I hope its a good book, but one that I hope can teach me more about the Club I love. And Perks of Being a Wallflower, well, I have heard a lot about this book, and the fact that it has Emma Watson in the movie version makes it more appealing. I normally enjoy these intense books, with tragedy, drug use, violence and sex etc due to the fact I don't think of the world as a Ladadadada happy place. It's full of crime, dishonesty and if your scared to admit to that then your not going to succeed. Recently I've had troubles in my sporting career, but should I dwell into that then this blog post will become dark and full of complaints that I don't really want.
So far I'm loving Perks of Being a Wallflower. The tragedy is there, but the storytelling is beautiful full of different techniques and language that entertains. I haven't started the thriller( three reasons why is the name btw) but once I finish my current book i'm sure to enjoy it. The Man Utd encyclopedia I have just briefly started, after reading the foreword by the legendary Right-back Gary Neville, a legend in all aspects.
Anyways thanks for reading this blog post, I hope you enjoyed me rambling on about books and life in general. And sorry if I put a darker light with my comments on the real world, but just step back, think and you will see where I am coming from.
Bye :D :D
